GPW Presents First NC Focus Newsletter under PWPA 5.0
The Warsaw Stock Exchange has published its first quarterly newsletter in the fifth edition of the Analytical Coverage Support Programme (PWPA 5.0). The report covers the NC Focus segment of NewConnect and represents another step towards greater transparency and availability of independent research for investors interested in companies with stable financial and operational fundamentals.
The first NC Focus newsletter was prepared by Dom Maklerski INC and brings an overview of the market and industries in Q3 2025 based on the composition of the NC Focus segment as at 26 June and 26 September 2025. The analysis covers 39 issuers qualified for the segment according to the new criteria, which remained in NC Focus in Q4 2025.
The turnover in shares of all 59 companies in the NC Focus segment (according to the GPW classification of 26 June 2025) amounted to PLN 100.36 million in Q3 2025, with an average capitalisation of PLN 52.41 million at the end of the quarter. The average rate of return (YTD) weighted by turnover for companies in the segment reached 27.08%, and weighted by capitalisation 5.39%. The average P/E ratio was 20.05, P/BV was 2.63, and the average dividend yield for NC Focus companies in the June classification was 5.26%.
According to the GPW communiqué of 26 September 2025, shares of 39 issuers were qualified in the NC Focus segment, compared to 59 companies listed in the segment in the period from July to September 2025. Fifteen companies joined the segment and 35 left the segment. The high rotation results from the application of new criteria for qualification to the NC Focus segment.
The turnover in shares of companies classified in the NC Focus segment under the GPW resolution of 26 September 2025 amounted to PLN 161.6 million in Q3 2025, with an average capitalisation of PLN 64.66 million. The average rate of return (YTD) was 29.43%, the average turnover-weighted rate of return was 121.20%, and the capitalisation-weighted rate of return was 56.93%. The average P/E ratio reached 56.53, and the P/BV ratio was 2.97. Fourteen companies paid dividends in the last four quarters, and the average dividend yield for NC Focus companies in the September qualification was 5.9%.
The NC Focus segment is designed to showcase companies with stable financial and operational foundations, which could make them more attractive to investors. The aim of the segment is to facilitate the identification of issuers with solid fundamentals and to support more informed investment decisions. However, it should be noted that the inclusion of a company in NC Focus is not an investment recommendation; each investment decision should be preceded by an individual analysis.
The official launch of the NC Focus newsletter prepared by Dom Maklerski INC will take place at NewConnect Focus Day, scheduled for Thursday, 6 November 2025, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
All capital market participants are invited to participate in the webinar, including retail and institutional investors, representatives of companies listed on NewConnect, analysts, financial advisors, industry media, and anyone interested in the development of the NC Focus segment.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to review the results of the first quarterly survey, get to know selected companies in the NC Focus segment, and interact directly with analysts and representatives of issuers. Each company presentation will feature a 15-minute analysis and a 5-minute Q&A session.
