The NewConnect Market Member shall be exclusively the entity, that posses the status of the Exchange Member of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. In order to obtain the status of NewConnect Market Member, the interested Exchange Member shall submit to the Alternative System Organizer the application to set a start date and scope of its business on NewConnect.
According to the Resolution No. 471/2007 of the Warsaw Stock Exchange Management Board dated 6 July 2007, the condition of commencement of the operation by Market Member on the NewConnect is submitting to the WSE, not later than 2 business days before the commencement of operation, the statement concerning the accession and performance of the payment to the fund ensuring the proper settlement of transactions made on the NewConnect (managed by Polish National Depository for Securities) by the Market Member or other entity, with whom the Market Member signed the agreement on the settlement of the transactions concluded on the NewConnect.
