Issuer’s history and business
HiProMine S.A. was incorporated on 30 March 2015. The founders of the Company are: "StartVenture@Poland Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością" Spółka Komandytowo-Akcyjna based in Warsaw, GPV I Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością Spółka Komandytowo-Akcyjna based in Warsaw, Damian Józefiak, Jakub Urbański, and Jan Mazurkiewicz.
HiProMine S.A.’s core business is the production of feed materials from insect biomass and a by-product, i.e., organic fertiliser. The company produces insects of the Hermetia illucens species at all stages of development and processing. The Robakowo plant handles reproduction of the insects, their fattening ending with slaughter, and post-processing in order to obtain high-quality feed materials. HiProMine’s product range includes frozen and dried insects, as well as insect meal, pulp and fat. As of Q2 2022, HiProMine will be selling organic fertiliser obtained during the rearing of insects from their droppings. The company offers its products to both domestic and international markets. Its customers are based in Germany, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Israel, Japan, Spain, the UK and Norway, among others, operating in industries related to the production of feed materials, as well as food and treats for companion animals. HiProMine S.A. is the only company in Poland to offer insect products in industrial quantities and one of few such producers on the European market.
