Shares of Thorium Space S.A., a deep-tech company specializing in secure satellite communication technologies for both civilian and military applications, have debuted on the NewConnect market. The company has thus become the tenth representative of the new technologies sector listed on the alternative trading system operated by the Warsaw Stock Exchange and the seventh company to make its debut on the market in 2026.

Thorium Space’s entry into the public market marks the next stage in the implementation of its growth strategy and confirms the increasing importance of advanced technologies within the Polish economy. Following its stock market debut, the company joined a group of four space-sector companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. A total of 2,460,169 shares were introduced to trading, including 1,101,000 Series I shares offered through a public offering. The reference price for the first trading day was set at PLN 20 per share.

“The NewConnect market is of great importance to the Warsaw Stock Exchange. It represents a natural stage in the development of enterprises and is often the first step towards listing on the GPW Main Market. We are pleased to see companies from the space and deep-tech sectors making their debut on the Warsaw market. It is here that innovative businesses can raise capital, increase their visibility, and build credibility among investors,” said Michał Kobza, Member of the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Founded in 2017, Thorium Space is a Polish deep-tech company developing advanced satellite communication systems for civilian and military use. The company designs and develops proprietary technologies for the defence sector and critical infrastructure, focusing in particular on flat-panel satellite antennas, electronically steered user terminals, and digital signal processors for satellites. As part of the development of its proprietary solutions, the company also cooperates with technology partners in designing specialised integrated circuits used in satellite communication systems.

“Our NewConnect debut marks the beginning of a new chapter for Thorium Space as a public company. It entails greater responsibility towards the market, regular reporting obligations, and transparent communication. At the same time, our priority remains the execution of subsequent project milestones and further enhancing the commercial readiness of the technologies we are developing,” said Piotr Mierzejewski, Chief Executive Officer of Thorium Space S.A.

Thorium Space’s presence on the Warsaw Stock Exchange is also an important milestone for the GPW IPO Academy programme. The company is the first participant in the programme to successfully complete its preparation process and begin trading on the public market. This demonstrates that the support offered through the programme can effectively assist companies in executing their capital-raising plans and pursuing further growth.

NewConnect is an alternative trading system operated by the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2007. It serves as a financing platform for high-growth companies operating in specialised market segments.
