The Board of Directors of Milestone Medical Inc. _WAR: MMD, "the Company", "the Issuer"_,
today announced that it has commenced sales of its CompuFlo Epidural disposables to
UofL Health _University of Louisville_, a leading academic health system based in
Louisville, Kentucky. UofL Health owns and operates six hospitals and four medical
centers, providing patient care to more than 1.5 million patients each year in the
state of Kentucky. UofL Health has begun implementing the CompuFlo Epidural System
for obstetric anesthesia, acute pain, and chronic pain within its labor and delivery
_L_D_, operating room _OR_ and pain clinic teams.
UofL Health is a fully integrated regional academic health system with six hospitals,
four medical centers, Brown Cancer Center, Eye Institute, nearly 200 physician practice
locations, and more than 800 providers in Louisville and the surrounding counties,
including southern Indiana. Additional access to UofL Health is provided through a
partnership with Carroll County Memorial Hospital. With more than 12,000 team members
- physicians, surgeons, nurses, pharmacists and other highly-skilled health care professionals.
The Board of Directors of the Company is honored to announce the adoption of the CompuFlo
Epidural System and its CathCheck capability at this leading academic institution.
The instrument is being employed in three distinct departments: labor _ delivery,
acute pain and in the operating room. The Board of Directors of the Issuer is encouraged
by this validation as the Company is executing its strategy to become the new standard
of care.
